Main changes: - Front wheel drive permitted (if in the sprit of NSCC) - Slicks allowed for racing once the vehicle has qualified. Introduction The National Street Car Challenge is the UK's premiere street and strip series for the rod and custom scene running since 1996. Score points for races, cruises and shows. Whether your car is a 9-second car or a 19-second car, cost twenty grand or twenty quid, bring it out and have some fun with the friendliest, most laid-back competition in Britain. You may join in at any time during the season and attend as many or few events as you like. If it has MOT and tax and you are prepared to have some fun with it, you're in! All races are held under IOPD permit. How to enter Contact Shaun for a form or alternatively just turn up and register on the day at any of the events. Registration costs ten pounds to cover administration. Race paperwork To race at York you will need to be a PDRC member and have an IOPD race license. (Unless you are a member of APIRA or SPRC and have an MSA license - these are recognised at York.) PDRC membership form.

Revised York Dragway startline policy from April 2013. "Due to recommendations at the track inspection "Crew" must sign on before being allowed to the start line area. Your crew must sign the form at scrutineering & accept that they are aware of the risks associated with the startline. Crew will be limited to 2 per vehicle & must wear the wristband. This is with immediate effect, any crew member without the wristband will be asked to leave the startline area, failure to do so may result in the exclusion of the vehicle from competition.
